It’s the black summer truffle know as “Scorzone” due to its peridium (outer part) warty, formed by protruding and chapped warts. The “Gleba” (its inside) is crossed by very branched white veins, hazel colour. Delicate scent, more intense at its full maturity.
It is advisable to keep it in the fridge wrapped in absorbent paper and closed in a glass container. It must be consumed within 10 days. The picking begins the 1st of June until the 3rd of August.
